When Eileen Larsen first joined Bogen 28 years ago, she arrived as a temporary employee to help with the company’s new filing system. A legacy employee, Eileen’s mother was employed at the time in Bogen’s Customer Service department. Following Eileen’s temporary role, Bogen had an opening in Service Repair and reached out once more. Working today as a Credit Analyst, Eileen has been with Bogen ever since.
Eileen’s favorite part of being in the Credit department is working directly with customers. “Any problems customers have, they’ll give us a call and we’ll investigate different things and help them out,” Eileen says. “It’s really about helping them out and making them happy. That’s really the bottom line: keeping the customer happy.”
Outside of Bogen, Eileen is a passionate advocate for animals. Her own beagle, Abby, is a rescued retired medical research beagle. “They don’t know if she was used in any of the trials, but she was owned by the lab, and now she has a good life,” Eileen shares. “In New Jersey they release them for adoption. In New York, it’s not a law that they do that yet, so I’m trying to write to different people, senators and whatnot, to make that a law in New York. So that these beagles that are released can go to good homes. That’s my passion.”
