The new NEARSCAPES IG44.1DSP system is a great way to deliver unobtrusive, super high performance sound into outdoor living spaces. This bollard style “satellite/subwoofer” system boasts high clarity at any volume, deep articulate bass, and ultra-low distortion for areas up to 3000 sq. ft. (280sq.m).
- In-ground or on-ground stake mounting (ground stakes supplied)
- Purpose-built to be extremely durable in all weather conditions
- Built-in multi-tap 70V transformer with rotary switch selections for 64W, 32W, 16W, with 16-ohm bypass
- Anodized metal alloy speaker cones (MDT) maintain specified performance over a broad range of temperatures (-20 to +160 degrees F; -29 - +71 C) for consistent sound quality in every season
- Durable powder-coated aluminum grille
- Rectangular grille perforations to prevent clogging
- Magnetic Liquid Suspension (MLS) spiderless motor uses specially developed Ferrofluid to center the voice coil and eliminate spider-generated distortion
- Dual-layer voice coil with inside and outside windings for ultra-low distortion
- Water and dust-proof (IP67) input connectors eliminate long term connection problems
- Dual speaker wire connectors allow easy daisy chain wiring
- Acoustically inert color-through ¼-inch thick Linked Low-Densite Polypropylene (LLDP) enclosure stands tough even under the most extreme conditions and hides nicks and scratches
- Advanced SupraPolymer driver surround resists UV rays, chlorine, fertilizer, and salt spray
- Hydrophobic fabric port covers prevent entry of water, debris, and small creatures
